About This Item

New York: McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1960. This is a good reference copy of Liverani's classic study of Italian majolica, from about the 8th or 9th century to the late 18th century. With all 83 tipped-in plates and the frontis. Also 52 black & white illustrations in the text. This is a good copy in the polished vellum boards, but the back board has been stained a brownish color, and this is also on the bottom page-edges in drops here and there. But other than this, the book is fine inside, completely clean text and very fresh plates. Binding nice and tight. Folio size, 12" high X 9.5" wide, 258 pages. . Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
