Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with other illustrations throughout. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Mild marking to some pages throughout; text is not obscured. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Mild marking overall. Book has a noticeable forward lean. Unclipped jacket. Light tanning and foxing to all surfaces. Moderate edgewear, with noticeable chipping, tearing and creasing, and slight loss to spine ends. Heavy scuffing to exterior.
