Indianapolis and New York: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc., 1944. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo. 558 pages, indexed. Hardcover in red cloth. Binding is rubbed, has some wrinkling of the cloth on the rear board. There is a 4.5 inch long indent on spine cloth. At some point the text block was lightly damped. The front gutter shows damping. Prior owner's name on front pastedown. The edges of some pages show the damping, which has caused a slight waviness to the paper. Text is toned, with occasional foxing.
