libraire hachette et cie 1882 VG red boards with black artwork and titling. no dj. corners are bumped and edges are rubbed. both ends of spine are gently rounded with no loss. all pages present. text is clean and tightly bound but there is weakness to front board's seam which has started and is cracked. still fully attached - but feels weak. . neat inscription dated 1887. lovelty condition for a book over 120n years old! A classic textbook and very collectable.
