S. W. Partridge & Co. 1894 1st. 8 x 6 ins. Hardback in blue cloth with illustration to front and spine with black and red colouring. Gilt and green lettering/title to spine and front. Black design to rear. Top page edges gilt. Floral endpapers. In very good condition. Corners bumped, rubbing to edges and spine. Small nicks to cloth at ends of spine. Spine darkened/faded. Darkening/handling marks to cloth. Bookplate to front endpaper, neat inscription overleaf. Frontis and title darkened, tissue guard foxed. A few handling marks to pages else a tight copy. 416pp +16pp cat. Illustrated by W. Rainey.
