The text is illustrated with 106 black-and-white illustrations and 33 coloured plates. Blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt embossed publisher's logo to the front panel and gilt titles to the backstrip. Colour photographic dustwrapper with blue and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. A history of the civilisations of America from prehistory to 1492. Library of the Early Civilisations series. Heavy shelfwear to the book edges and there is flecking to the top one third of the front panel. A little flecking to the lower edge of the book. Foxing to the top textblock edge and light age toning of the other textblock edges and internal pages. Rubbing to the dustwrapper edges and dustwrapper panels. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
