London: G. Bell & Sons, 1927. Finely bound by Riviere & Son (stamp signed at front turn-in) in "Kelliegram-style" in caramel crushed morocco featuring a 5 inch high Pepys holding a candle at center of front cover, surrounded by ornate gilt geometric and floral decorations, same decorations repeated at rear cover. Wide gilt turn-ins with marbled end papers, all edges gilt. Near Fine, a rub to gilt at bottom edge, quite slight rubs at spine. xxiii, 570 pages with 6 pages of maps at rear. A quite pleasing Pepys indeed. . Later Edition. Crushed Morocco. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
