London: Quartet Books. 1981. First edition, first printing. First edition, first printing. Inscribed by Terry Fincher. Original black cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs by Fincher. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the upper board with the slightest touch of bowing. The contents, with a little very faint spotting to the text block edges and the rear pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased original dustwrapper which has a little faint spotting to the white areas. Not price-clipped (£11.95 to the front flap). Inscribed by Terry Fincher in black ink on the front free endpaper "To John with best / wishes / Terry". The recipient John Tully, was an Olympus technician �who serviced and repaired Fincher's camera equipment. A profusely illustrated overview of Fincher's life and work, with the photographs featured ranging from images of public figures such as members of the royal family and glamour models to depictions of conflicts in Vietnam and Northern Ireland.
