"In this book "all the fundamentals, esthetic as well as practical, of commerical work have been gathered into one book. Explanatory sketches and examples of some of his own best work appear on almost every page." GOOD HARDCOVER, some wear to the spine edges and corners of book, lettering is bright on the spine, binding is tight. Internally a nice clean and tight copy.. Hard Cover. Good/No Dust Jacket Present.. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.

Synopsis

Andrew Loomis was born in 1892. After studying art he moved to Chicago, eventually opening his own studio, working in editorial and advertising for most of the top clients at the time including Kellogg's, Coca Cola, Lucky Strike and more. He also became renowned as an art teacher and his instructional books on Realist illustration and art are acclaimed classics in the field. He died in 1959.
