About This Item
192 Pages with a map of that area of France at the end. Presumed First Edition.
This first-hand account of the fighting retreat during World War I comes in dark red boards with printing on the spine. The book's exterior has worn areas at the top and bottom of its spine, on all four corners (two lightly worn and two a bit more), some light spots on the front cover, and water staining on the rear cover. The interior book has two former owner's names on the title page, one dated 1919 and one, 1922 and then it has mold spots in various places up to page 38 of the book. (lots of mold staining on some pages and very little on other pages. Outside of these distractions, the rest of the book has no visible extraneous markings thus all printing is fully readable and the maps are all in very good condition. The book's bindings remain tight and sound also.
If you order this book from us, it will be carefully wrapped, padded, and then boxed up and sent right away to you and will come to you with our absolute appreciation for your interest in the book and for your order of it.
