About This Item
Garden City: Doubleday, Doran and Company, 1941. Hardcover. 8vo. Blue cloth, pictorial corner-clipped (not price-clipped) dust jacket. 304pp. Very good/good plus. Jacket edgeworn and a bit rubbed, with small chips at head and tail of spine; both pastedowns heavily age toned, as often seen on this title. A tight, decent first edition of this innocent family drama, "the year's gayest and most ingratiating book" according to the jacket.
