Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking.

No DJ; the clothbound cover and spine show wear, they are faded and have a few damp stains. The binding is tight, text block pages are clear of marks.
A collection of poems found among the papers of the author's husband after his death, and arranged by him for publication.
Illustrated with many small meticulous wood engravings produced with a sensitive style by the artist who was involved in the revival of the medium in the 1930s. Overall a charming book!

Toning to edges of textblock, price clipped, 2cm tear to dust-jacket spine, wearing to dust-jacket edges. Very good. Mary Webb's poetry was predominately published in 1928, and it was the general consensus that what other poetry may have existed was incomplete. However, after the death of H.B.L Webb, more of her poems were found in his papers.
