Vintage paperback, Dell D223; one of Stout's best in his celebrated mystery series featuring Nero Wolfe, New York City private detective, genius and orchid grower investigating the murder of a college president; Number 13 in the Dell Great Mystery Library; First Printing of First Dell Edition; text is tight, clean, age-browned with very slight spine lean in worn but whole pictorial wrappers showing small dogear on lower corner of back cover, minor creasing, soiling, edgewear. Scarce, collectable.
