London: Hodder and Stoughton Limited, c1930. Cloth. Very Good/Fair. 7.5" by 5". None. An early edition of the fifth worth in the Bulldog Drummond series by H. C. NcNeile, complete with a scarce dust wrapper. An exciting work following beloved character Bulldog Drummond, this work was adapted into the film 'Bulldog Drummond Comes Back' in 1937.Written by Sapper, the pseudonym of H. C. McNeile, a British author and soldier. McNeile was best known for his 'Bulldog Drummond' works, featuring the ex-army Captain Hugh Drummond, ever keen for an adventure.Complete with a scarce unclipped dust wrapper.An early edition; the list of works by 'Sapper' lists 'Temple Tower', which was first published in 1929. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally generally smart, with some wear to the cloth of the extremities and a little occasional bumping. Dust wrapper is discoloured, with a large amount of loss to the tail of the front board. Edges are a little worn, with the odd chip. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good
