Marbled paper-covered boards with leather tips and spine; titling and gilt on the spine. Clean text; it begins with page 77 and continues to page 174, folled by a seven-page table of contents; unmarked but with scattered spotting and lightly toned. Previous-owned signature (1909) on second free endpaper. Numerous and impressive illustrations, many in colour, throughout. Rubbed at the margins. First Edition. Quarter-Bound. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
