John Lane, The Bodley Head Ltd, 1918. Hardcover. Good. 1918. No Edition Remarks. 198 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Light foxing, thumb marking and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters and hinges; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall; heavier to rear board. Spine has more heavy also tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends. Gilt lettering is noticeably darkened. Book has a slight forward lean.
