Story of Jesuit priest Father Eusebio Francisco Kino and his travels and documentation of an area he called 'Pimeria Alta'. This area is in present day southern Arizona and the northern Mexican Sonoran Desert in the last decade of the 17th century. There is a fold out map of the area. The introduction is by Senator Barry M. Goldwater of Arizona. There is no dust jacket. The book is in near fine condition. The pages are clean and unmarked and the book appears to be unread. There is light toning on the page edges. The corners are square and the map is in mint condition.
