Contains 52 of the final poems written before the award-winning American author's death, published posthumously be his wife. 95 pp. A FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1964, this hardcover 8vo has a black cloth-wrapped spine, titled in gilt, with matte black cloth over boards. Condition is Near Fine, marred only by very slight rubbing to extremities, heaviest at spine tips & corners. Else, completely clean & bright, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with mild tanning to edges. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $3.50 price intact to front flap) is downgraded to only Good due to taped repair inside where spine meets back cover; chipping at both ends of spine & spine fading.
