Pasadena, California: T. G. Norton. Good. Boudoir card measures 5 x 8 ½ inches. Title written on front of card and photographer's imprint on verso. Photographer's imprint reads: "T. G. Norton, Photographer. Pasadena, California. Publisher of views of Southern California. Orders for residences, picnic parties, and live stock promptly attended to." Card has minor chipping and light soiling; photograph has moderate yellowing. Overall good. This image was likely taken in the late 19th century and depicts two large fan palms with two men standing beside them. The trees are in an overgrown yard behind a small white house; there are vines in the yard as well. Photographer T. G. Norton published stereoviews in Pasadena in the 1870s and was partner in Nichols, Norton & Company out of Los Angeles in 1875 (Mautz p. 154). .
