Platt & Munk. 1945. early printing. Very Good+ in Fair dust jacket; Hardcover; Oblong 4to 11" - 13" tall; Bound in red cloth with pictorial paste-down on front cover. Orange endpapers. Reinforced binding (NOT a library discard). 21 beautiful full-page color depictions of famous planes by Irvin L. Holcombe. Clean cover, sharp corners, tight binding. A couple small stains or ink spots on back cover; light fraying at base of spine. Child's pencil scrawl neatly erased from front endpaper. Interior very crisp, clean, unmarked. All illustrations bright, intact. In jacket ith ragged edges, tears, large chips at ends of spine. Original price intact on flap. .
