First edition, so stated, octavo, pp. 457, [1]. Illustrated endpapers. Color frontis and many other illustrations, perfect with the Table of Contents. Old bookseller ticket near bottom edge of rear pastedown. A FAIR only copy at best. Spine ends and board tips frayed and rubbed heavily. Lettering on spine and upper board worn away. Front hinge very tender. No dust jacket.
