The spine is slightly faded with a tear to the head. 888 pages, printed in 2 columns. The front hinge is cracked & the rear hinge is starting with some tears to the inner edge of the rear endpaper. The fore-edge is lightly soiled. Good working copy. <p>First edition of this revised and expanded edition.<p>Inscribed by the author on the front endpaper and signed "Joe Kane / April 3, 1950".
