About This Item
Montreal: The Family Herald and Weekly Star, (No date, but circa 1920s). Publishers pictorial brown card covers, pp. 215, [1]; black and white plates. Holograph recipe for "Dough nuts" in ink on verso of title page, with some bleed through. Previous owner has also made a hole in the upper left corner through the text block, and fed a string through to the rear cover; the book was presumably hung on a hook in their kitchen with this string, Charming indicators of previous use! Condition is fair to good only: spine chipped and joints splitting; staining and wear to covers, small tear in margin of final leaf. Fair to Good condition, and quite usable..
