London, Dennis Dobson, 1968.. FIRST EDITION 1968, 4to, 290 x 207 mm, 11½ x 8¼ inches, orange boards, no pagination. Brilliant exciting coloured illustration throughout, double and single page. A charming witty story about a lady stork who is obsessed with the desire to be a flamingo but finds that the grass is not really greener on the other side. Top corner of upper cover slightly bumped, tiny bumps to the other corners and to tail of spine, 5 mm (¼") slightly faded at tail. Contents very nice, no inscriptions. Very good plus in very good DUSTWRAPPER (dw: price blocked out on front flap as on most copies, 5 mm (¼") chips at head and tail of spine, tiny chips to corners, 2 closed edge tears, maximum 25 mm (1"), just slightly rubbed on folds).
