Nason was a print maker from Lyme, Connecticut, known as the "poet engraver of New England." Nason became known for his poetic and somber observations of the rural New England landscape. According to a statement on the reverse, this is a limited edition for members of the Society of Pring Connoisseurs of Alexandria, Virginia.

Slightly foxed near edges. Accompanied by Lindsay's booklet Santa Cruz, Toledo (Alexandria: The Society of Print Conoiseurs, 1946), which includes a frontispiece illustration of this work.

The remarkable transcript of 7.5 hours of dialogue conducted over two days in August 1970 between the famed author(s) and anthropologist that still resonates today. Often heart-achingly so. Baldwin speaking on police violence: "The police in this country make no distinction between a Black Panther or a black lawyer or my brother or me. The cops aren't going to ask me my name before they pull the trigger." But sometimes at least showing movement in one way or another. MEAD speaking on "parallelism between race and sex": "...Ralph Bunche and I used to laugh because there were parts of the Cosmos Club he couldn't go in and there were parts I couldn't go in ... "How to Do Good" is a printed pocket-sized booklet on how to conduct oneself well, written in lighthearted and plain language. Instructs reader how to "do good" in family, society, among friends, schools, in politics, church, etc. Chapter Ten is dedicated to "doing good" via books: "One important way of doing good is by means of books ... we shall necessarily be judged of by others by the books they find in our hands" (pp. 40-41).
