Oxford: John Henry Parker, 1852. First edition (hardback). 4to, 40pp. 13 plates (complete as per list) including two in colour. Original printed boards. Binding worn but intact (about half of the backstrip has chipped away, and the boards are somewhat rubbed). Light foxing of the preliminary pages, front free endpaper a little scuffed, else the contents are in very good condition. Author's presentation copy, signed "C S Bale esq with the author's kind regards".
