With glossy photograph of the author [matching jacket back panel photo] laid in, along with review new release from the publisher and a presentation / permission slip which identifies the copy as a Review Copy and which carries with it permission to quote up to 750 words from the novel. Author's first novel. Octavo, 253 pp. Black cloth-backed pale yellow boards, gilt device on cover, gilt lettering on spine. Pictorial dustjacket. Some spine lean, would otherwise be Fine in a very near fine, unclipped jacket. Photo and review material are Fine. See all scans. Paula Gosling's 1978 novel was the basis for two movies - Cobra, with Sylvester Stallone and Brigitte Nielsen, and Fair Game, with William Baldwin and Cindy Crawford. Both took some artistic liberties, but closely followed the plot established by this little-known [at the time] copywriter from the south of England. L11n
