Garden City: Doubleday & Company, 1974. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First American edition. Book has signs of water damage, with faint stains to the page edges and spotting to the slightly splayed boards (but has no noticeable odor), still about very good in a lightly worn very good dust jacket with a touch of toning and faint stains mostly visible on the verso. Inscribed by the author. Complimentary copy with publisher's stamp on front pastedown. "A chilling tale of psychological - yet very human - bondage in which obsession slowly takes over a man's mind and conscience." Uncommon signed.
