A signed first edition of Nadine Gordimer's 'Face to Face' - a collection of short stories by the author. Scarce signed and with dustwrapper. There are sixteen stories featured in the book, including 'Ah, Woe is Me', 'La Vie Boheme', and 'The Talisman'. Nadine Gordimer was a South African writer and political activist. This is Gordimer's first work. Signed on the title page. In a blue cloth binding with a clipped dustwrapper. Externally generally smart. Light discolouration to head of spine and light shelfwear. Ink signature to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper sound with loss to head of the spine, chipping, edgewear and closed tears and folds. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout. Very Good
