Retold from Alexander Teixeira de Mattos' translation of Fabre's "souvenier entomologiques". 12 color plates. 271 pp. Green cloth cover with decorative gilt inlaying. Hole in spine on "B" in "Book". Wear to top/bottom edges of spine. Bottom corners slightly bumped. Paper inside front cover has cracked and showing cloth mesh, cover is soundly attached however. Clean, crisp pages.
