Full green morocco contemporary binding with gilt lettering to spine and ornate gilt tooling with blind panels, inner edges dentelle. A.E.G. some rubbing to extremities, hinges cracking, some light foxing and staining, yellow staining to flyleaves, small tear to margin of p. xxxvii. Illustrated with 280 woodcuts, with a 60-page memoir of the author (the book was published posthumously).
