Limited edition, copy 373 of 400, a signed presentation copy in blue ink on free front endpaper, "For Mary K. Woodworth from M.M. and the pelican! Who is fond of both Miss W. and the regal bird May 17 1954." E. Mcknight Kauffer designed the monogram which appears in gilt on the front cover.
