Hurd, 1865 New York: Hurd and Houghton, 1865. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Illustrated with 111 engravings from original designs by Herrick . First edition thus. 12mo. green and gilt boards with period yellow end papers, 311 pp. All edges gilt, very ornate binding with animals and decorations all in blind-stamped gilt, very attractive and conditionally near fine. Date on title page matches date of copyright, true first printing thus.
