Parisiis (Paris): J. Barbou, 1760. Three volumes complete - Volume One - xxiv, 444pp; Volume Two - [4], 480pp and Volume Three - [4], 456pp, [2]. Contemporary full mottled calf, smooth back divided into six panels , morocco author label to second panel, volume label to third, remaining panels with central flower device and smaller flower corner pieces, covers with triple fillet border, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, all edges gilt, french curl marbled endpapers. Author label to volume one faded, spines slightly faded, slightly rubbed to extremities, head of volume one chipped with small amount of loss. Internally bright and clean, previous owners' book label and shelf mark labels to front pastedown. Engraved frontispieces to each volume. Dibdin II:455, Moss II:645, Brunet V:636, 'bon texte'. Reprint. Full Calf. Good+. 12mo.
