London: Hodder and Stoughton. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 12mo. 445 pages. Hardcover bound in burgundy cloth. There is light to moderate wear to the binding, which is rubbed and has several small spots/smudges on the covers. The edges are lightly bumped. Outer edges of the text block are heavily toned and show contact marks. There is light foxing to the end papers as well as to the title page and several rear pages. Pages 45-62 are bent at the top corners. The text is toned but otherwise clean and sound. Publication date not stated. Circa 1890s to early 1900s.
