This is volume 6 only, encompassing Acts of the Apostles to Revelation. 934 p., unmarked within on incredibly strong paper that is foxed, faintly (damp?) stained at upper edges of first few pages--yet edges not chipped because paper is far from brittle despite being nearly 200 years old. Some writing on end pages and front pastedown, name of former owner M.K. Cabell in small elegant hand on upper edge of t.p. and a printed label identifying the book as a bequest from Mildred K. Cabell, of the distinguished Virginia family. Gutters are cracked but binding and text block firm; corners of leather boards bumped and the lower one on the front board is considerably abraded; only slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine and along raised edges; gilt lettering on red patches on spine still bright and clear.
