Chicago, Illinois: Quadrangle Books, 1968. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7. Type: Hardback Hardcover Book in Very Good Condition with a Fair Dust Jacket in clear archival protective cover. Distinguished American and British writers(mostly) explore through essays, fiction, and poetry the indistinct Jewish identity, their concerns and problems and and illustration of the breadth of Jewish creativity. Bound in brown cloth with gilt titles on spine and on front, very clean and unmarked, bottom edges of boards lightly rubbed. Solid, tight and square. Top edge and fore edge of page block are lightly foxed. Small brownish stain (bleeding from cover) on upper, outer corner of paste-down and smaller on endpaper corner tip. Internals are Fine-clean and completely unmarked, pages lightly toned. Brown jacket with red and gold titles is clean, scuffed at spine head and heel and along bottom edge, moderate wear to extremities with a damp stain along upper edge. 305 pages. 9 x 5.75 inches. Quadrangle Books, Chicago, Illinois, 1968.
