Inscription on front paste-down, minor darkening toward hinge free end papers, edges darkened with spots of foxing on protruding foredges of the uncut pages, else very good clean & sound condition without dust jacket. "This large paper edition, signed by the artist, is limited to three hundred and fifty copies of which this is number 61" but the signature is lacking. 609pp., top edge gilt, remaining edges uncut, brown cloth with gilt lettering and front cover image showing Boswell and Johnson walking together.
