This book is beautifully restored, rebound and reconditioned by Brian Cole. Looks as new and shall provide the owner with a further 200 years of use.

Francis Clater's popular and well-respected guide to the art of farriery, an essential work for the science that has remained the standard work on the subject. This work is an informative guide into the art of farriery, alongside information to the health and welfare of horses, with advice on treating various ailments, Illustrated with a frontispiece. Written by Francis Clater. Clater also published 'Every Man His Own Cattle Doctor', at the request of his employers who were farmers. He practised as a chemist, druggist, and cattle doctor, meaning this his medical advice in his works are trustworthy, and well respected at the time.
