Signed presentation copy from Lawrence Clark Powell to the book’s publisher Noel Young, inscribed by the author beneath the colophon: “Lawrence Clark Powell for Noel Young, ever fondly, 9-9-91.” The book was designed by Ward Ritchie with 100 copies specially bound by Roswell Bookbinding, numbered and signed by Powell. This copy is not numbered. Fine, fresh condition. Beautiful bound in one quarter gilt-stamped black leather and decorative paper boards, 436 pages, enclosed in the publisher’s original red cloth slipcase.
