About This Item
First American edition. The book shows a little shelf-wear at the base of the spine and the lower corners, and little else. Red fabric covered boards with gilt print on the spine and a gilt replica of Waugh's signature on the front. The pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with dozens of illustrations. The clipped dust jacket has been abused with a half-dozen or more tears, the largest being about 3 cm (visible in the upper corner in photo #2), plus a few other chips on the edges. A collection of sixteen essays by sixteen members of Evelyn Waugh's World. A scarce book.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
