Hardcover with price clipped dust jacket, second (1942) printing of the First Edition, x + 563 pages; very gently used, only light traces of shelf wear, ink gift inscription dated "Happy Christmas! 1942", one tiny faded old spot stain to fore edge with a hint of penetration to outer margins of a few pages, light pencil markings on several pages, otherwise very clean and unmarked; DJ worn and rubbed. heavily chipped and torn, but intact in new mylar protector.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good.
