Bound in publisher's original blue and green cloth ruled in blind with spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with light wear to covers, light fading to spines, former owner inscriptions at front and pages lightly toned. A series of greatly influential essays by the Japanese scholar and author, which along with several other of Suzuki's works are credited with spreading Zen and Shin to a western audience.
