The binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Shows a few flaws, but in overall appearance, remains a handsome copy: clean, sturdy, and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.2 x 5.75 x 1.35 inches). xvi, 371 pages. Translated into English by John Florio and with an Introduction by Desmond MacCarthy. Twenty-six Drawings in Pen and Ink by G.E. Chambers, and Many Portraits in Photogravure. Tan cloth over boards with gilt titles and designs at the front panel and backstrip. Rough-cut fore-edge and bottom edge. Weight: 1 pound, 7.3 ounces. First Edition Thus [1928], so stated. Hardback: No DJ 'as issued'.
