Paris, J G Merigot le jeune, 1786. later edition. Hardback. Very Good/No Jacket. Second Edition 1786 Period quarter vellum over marbled boards, endpapers renewed. One plate with repair to fold and a couple with edges slightly frayed, small damp stain to lower fore-corner of vol 1 affecting margin only of first dozen leaves. A few odd intermittent spots or odd small stains, but overall an excellent copy. Half titles; Vol.1- Title, liv, (ii), 477pp, (vii) Tables, and Folding plates numbered 1-19; Vol.2- Title, viii, 448pp, and Folding Plates 20-38. 4to 24 x 18 cms [Brunet I 819]
