Collins, Eyre and Spottiswoode, 1953. Hardcover. Good. 1953. No Edition Remarks. 432 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Red cloth covered boards with gilt. Flat signed by author to title page. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Some page corners folded. Minor pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf wear with minor corner bumping and crushing to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.
