About This Item
New York: Eros Magazine, 1962. Hardcover. Folio. Glossy pictorial paper over boards. 96pp. Numerous illustrations (many color), pictorial endpapers. Near fine. A tight and attractive first edition of the penultimate issue of this short-lived quarterly devoted to sex and love, featuring 18 pages' worth of Bert Stern's famed racy last photographs of Marilyn Monroe along with an essay on Sam Roth and an excerpt from "Fanny Hill." The fourth and last issue earned Ginzburg (1929-2006) conviction on federal obscenity laws.
