With illustrations by Lancelot Speed, a Victorian book illustrator best known for his illustrations of Andrew Lang's fairy stories. Eric Brighteyes is an epic Viking adventure novel set in 10th century Iceland. In a cloth binding. Externally, smart with some rubbing and bumping particularly to spine. Book is cocked. Internally, generally firmly bound although strained in places. Pages generally bright with occasional spot and handling mark. Good
