About This Item
Cambridge: n.p., 1925. Hardcover. Very good. Approx. 6.75" x 4.75" hand made hardcover book. [1], [23], [3]. White paper covered cardboard covers with hand written title label pasted down on the front cover. The front and rear end papers are water color painted. All text written in small neat printed letters. All text written on the front side of the paper which appears to be tissue paper? or hand made paper? A very small hand written name at the bottom of the title label on the front cover appears to be Daisy Newman (although no validation of the name, viewed under magnification, is made). No variations of this book title found during extensive research on the internet. Perhaps this a copy of an unpublished manuscript diary? This small booklet was produced in Cambridge. Daisy Newman, 1904-1994, was born to American parents in Britain and studied at Oxford University. She was a writer of novels and wrote non fiction about Quakers in America (from wikipedia).
