Title page has worn spot with small hole. Pages yellowing somewhat otherwise clean and tight. Back endpapers show smoke discoloration as if from a fire somewhere in the books history. Traduits par feu M. l'Abbé Regnier des Marais, Secrétaire de l'Académie françoise. Interviews translation of Cicero by Rev. Regnier des Marais, secretary of the French Academy, author of poetry and prose, who died in 1713. In these interviews, Cicero compares the two dominant philosophical thoughts in his time, Epicureanism and Stoicism.Very Rare. .
